Mental Health and Wellbeing Workshops and Consultancy for Organisations and Businesses

Neurodivergent-affirming, LGBTQIA+-inclusive, trauma-informed workshops, training, & workplace consultancy that puts humans first and is actually valuable

I genuinely care about workplace wellbeing and good workplace culture. I know no one has it easy - having worked both in underfunded and understaffed public services and super-competitive startups.

I offer bespoke workplace mental health and wellbeing workshops and consultancy to help organisations or businesses take care of their people - in an actually meaningful way.

I’m a senior, BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and Supervisor with extensive senior leadership and management experience.

I’ve worked in public health services with too much work and too few people to do it, with computers that take half an hour to start, and offices that haven’t been refurbished since the 90s.

I also worked in an up-and-coming startup and moved with the whole team to California for 3 months to participate in the world’s leading startup accelerator - Y Combinator. We lived together and worked six days per week with ever-changing deadlines and priorities, to present the best version of the product to investors.

So, I know what pressures organisations, businesses, and entrepreneurs face not only to keep to keep afloat, but to keep improving and progressing - without burning out their people.

Find Out More About Me

No more stuffy seminars and awkward team-building exercises.

  • I can design one-off, series, or regular sessions.

Sessions can range from 1 hour to several days.

I can also offer consultancy services, either one-off, or on a retainer basis.

  • My approach is rooted in evidence-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, and Neuroscience.

I also draw from my extensive experience in senior leardership, management, and supervision in the NHS, as well as my experience working in a then-early-stage startup.

All of what I offer is grounded in a neurodivergent-affirming, LGBTQIA+ inclusive, trauma-informed, and anti-oppressive approach.

Above all, my approach is genuinely human, relatable, practical, and engaging.

  • I can cover anything from more general workplace wellbeing, resilience (in the good sense of the word), and mental health, to tackling a specific issue you may be facing, such as a big change or deadline coming up, people not speaking out about their needs, low morale, and so on.

In more detail, I will usually use values work, balancing and pacing, psychoeducation and strategies on stress, anxiety, low mood, but also deeper, more reflective work on identity and meaning.

Highlights

I spent some time with the Ernst&Young mindfulness champions

On a lovely summer afternoon, I made my way to the London EY offices to guide the mindfulness champions into a practice and provide an opportunity for them to connect with each other in person.

During the lunch that they kindly invited me to thereafter, we thought about what it was like to be practising mindfulness in a room with glass walls while others were running around - and how needed and refreshing it was. People left with their own intentions to pause, breathe, slow down, even in the midst of tricky presentations and looming deadlines.
